I find this game. (I actually like to search for various "BASIC" games on Itch.io. Many "BASIC" games are on Itch.io actually.) This game looks interesting! Any plan to compile it with modern BBC implementation? I mean BBCSDL which is freeware. Then gamers will not need to use emulators to play the game. Besides, BBCSDL is more versatile. You can therefore make an enhanced version(I mean more than ten lines.) of this game with new features.
Hi, thanks for your interest! I have no plans to revisit this game at the moment. By the way, you can play the game in your browser (see link in game description) without the need to download an emulator.
This is my first and it worked really well for me. Before I didn't feel that I had the right skills (ie I thought that you 'have to know the tricks'), but then in the day job and hobby programming I like to be efficient (with 8-bit computers you have to be!) Yes, I saw the invaders in a tweet - brilliant!
You're doing well and I hope you will join other competitions or just make them for fun. There's no coding in my day job so I'm always looking forward to it in my hobby 👍
Another great programming example my C0DE! I'm surprised by the speed of it, I tried something like this on the Oric a few months ago using string slicing but it was not as snappy as this. I think Oric BASIC is not the best for performance! But anyway - this is excellent!

It's really impressive that you've managed this within the constraints. It's very slick.
Thank you! I've cursed Mr.Loud many times for the constraints of his competition, but in reality I enjoyed every minute of the challenge ;)
wouldn't that be "Mr Bloke"? 😂 I think the constraints make it much more interesting, and counter-intuitively, "completable".
Agreed! I'm addicted to this kind of competition and also to the BBC Micro Bot

Agreed. This is a real triumph.

Thanking you kindly, Mr.Nerd =) This was a lovely challenge. Too bad dflat is not allowed in the competition ;)
Wonderful!!!!
Thank you, Greg, also for always being kind and supportive!
